Despite missing practice during the week, both New York Giants star defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence and edge rusher Brian Burns will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lawrence, dealing with a persistent hip injury, was limited in practice but, as the NFL’s sack leader, is set to compete. He’ll be matched against Steelers backup center Ryan McCollum, who will start his second game of the season.

Burns, who appeared on the injury report with groin and Achilles issues, did not have a full practice all week but is listed without a game designation, signaling he will play and challenge the Steelers from the edge. The Giants will be missing first-round pick Kayvon Thibodeaux, who is on injured reserve with a wrist injury.
