The focus is on Bryce Young, the benched former first-round pick of the Carolina Panthers, who has struggled to find his footing in the NFL. With tensions rising in Carolina, there’s speculation that a change of scenery could benefit both Young and the Panthers. NFL analyst Dallas Robinson suggests that if anyone can help develop Young, it might be Rams head coach Sean McVay.

Robinson highlights the Rams’ need to find a successor for Stafford, who, while still performing well at 36, is approaching the end of his career. Young, who has yet to live up to his draft expectations, could thrive under Stafford’s mentorship in L.A. Furthermore, Young’s contract situation may make him an affordable option, as the Rams could only need to pay him backup money, with the Panthers absorbing the rest of his prorated bonus.

With rumors swirling and four unknown teams reportedly inquiring about Young’s availability, the Panthers face a decision. They’ve stated they won’t trade him, but with their sights set on drafting another quarterback next season, they may reconsider their stance as the deadline approaches.
